Passionate about Product Management
In 2011 I shifted my career from managing operations to managing projects and products. After spending several years operating in various roles inside a single instance of a single business environment, I saw the value of learning from people in other locations, other operations, other industries, and sharing the best practices I found along the way.
“I’ve always been a curious and creative person. I want to understand technology and find ways to apply it that are meaningful and impactful to people.”
If you would like to know more about my career and experience, you’ll find all the details here.
@PLAY
In my spare time I am generally looking for something creative. You can often find me carrying any combination of cameras and drones to capture the world around me, or exploring new things and new places. If you'd like to see the outcome, you can check out my photography page. And the more places I go, the more I enjoy hiking and following trails…especially in Europe.
Otherwise, I'm inside and tinkering with something or reading up on something I find interesting. My interests are eclectic. Sometimes I’m dreaming up websites or creating videos, or I can be experimenting with new tools and apps. But I might just as easily be in the kitchen.
“Yes, it’s true that I’m a published model. At least once a year my face was published in a yearbook.”
EDUCATION
I graduated from the amazing University of Southern California back in...whatever, it happened. While I was there I majored in Business Administration with my emphases being Global Business and Finance. But I also managed to squeeze in a few classes in Sailing. In all honesty, I loved my time at USC. I'm very proud that I was admitted. I'm even more proud that I graduated. I appreciate the opportunities my education has afforded me. Fight On!
My path to becoming a Trojan started by becoming an Eagle (Elm Grove Elementary), a Colt (Creekwood Middle School), and a Mustang (Kingwood High School). I never had perfect attendance. I rarely made it through a semester without some type of detention assignment. But at times I was the top student in class...based on alphabetical order.

MISSTEPS ALONG THE WAY
Compton, CA, US - I thought there was one less step than there actually was, court ajourned
Teotihuacan, MX - Aside from this list, I'm generally pretty good with steps, but in this case the person behind me was not...and we all come tumbling down
Houston, TX, US - Sledding down a snowy mountain is fun; sledding down a staircase is fun until the first flip
Whittier, CA, US - When walking down stairs, if you suddenly see your feet at eye-level, something bad just happened even though you haven't found out yet
Bogota, CO - Circular stairs with iron railings and wet shoes equals physical xylophone plus lingering soreness
Torrance, CA, US - When you race up stairs skipping steps you should make sure the total number of steps is even
Beijing, CN - They call it the Great Wall, but the steps are inconsistent in size and freeze into a death slide in the winter...fact
Torrance, CA, US - Skipping a step and tumbling without losing a cupcake or soda is a ninja skill
