DIVERSIONS

If life is about become well-rounded, then I'm trying to do that.  From time to time I find other things to keep my brain occupied, to expand my collection of experiences or just to learn/try something new.

An Instagram community (hub) for photographers to share their Texas-based photos and stories, as well as develop friendships with other local photographers.  I love seeing everyone's photos and learning about the different things going on around the state.  It's also a great way to see what other photographers are doing as it relates to their style and aesthetics, as well as post-processing.  I've learned a lot and met some pretty darn good people along the way.

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, a group of photographers came together to help victims of the flood document and tell their story.

PUB THEOLOGY

On many Tuesday evenings I show up at a pub to listen to people talk about all kinds of topics and the intersection of current events and religion.  I've found it to be fascinating, listening to people of various faiths, and those of no faith, as they discuss.
